An estimate for one full-time employee for a whole year, without overtime, allowances or a provident fund. Children and age change the tax, so the net, not the employer's contributions. Official 2026 rates, calculated in your browser: nothing you type is sent or stored. How each figure is worked out.
What the calculation counts
- Twelve ordinary months, with the year's contribution ceilings.
- Cyprus: Social Insurance, GESY, Social Cohesion Fund, Redundancy Fund and HRDA, and if you choose them, the 13th salary and the Central Holiday Fund.
- Greece: e-EFKA contributions (package 101), the Christmas and Easter bonuses and the holiday allowance of a full year.
- From the net: it finds the gross salary that gives the net you want, with the same calculation.
What it does not count
- Overtime, allowances, benefits in kind and provident funds: they go into the payroll each month.
- The employee's yearly tax allowances, and what changes during the year (hiring or leaving, a raise).
Children and age change only the tax, that is the net; they do not change the employer's contributions.
The same amounts as the payroll
The calculator runs the same engine as ZEUS Finance Business payroll: what you see here is what the payslips would show for the same salary. How each figure is worked out, with an example and the sources: the payroll calculation rules.
FAQ
Is it accurate?
It is the app's own calculation with the official 2026 rates. For a real employee, what is not entered here counts too (overtime, allowances, provident fund, tax allowances), so it is an estimate for planning, not a payslip.
Are the amounts I type stored?
No. The calculation runs in your browser; nothing you type is sent or stored anywhere.
Why is the year's cost more than 12 salaries?
Because on every salary the employer also pays its own contributions, and because in Cyprus a 13th salary is often paid, while in Greece there are the Christmas and Easter bonuses and the holiday allowance, all with contributions.
